The DTA inaugurates its first training center "InnoTechLab" on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 in Yaoundé under the high patronage of the Minister of SMEs Achille Bassilekin III. To underline the importance of this event, two other members of government were present at the inauguration of the center: The Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Issa Tchiérouma Bakary, and the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Gregoire Owona. They intend to play a decisive role in the implementation of public policies of industrialization, digitalization in order to facilitate job creation and the emergence of Cameroon through the incubator "INNOTECHLAB". The DTA took the opportunity today to sign a partnership agreement with the National Employment Fund in the presence of the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Issa Tchiroma Bakary accompanied by the other two ministers present. The DTA's challenge is to accelerate the adoption and mastery of advanced engineering and digitalization technologies for a sustainable transformation of the African continent. It is to this end that it has set up the incubation center of Technological, Industrial and Pedagogical Innovations. INNOTECH LAB has several effective activity centers. We note the prototyping space for innovation, the prototype demonstration aiming at stimulating the technology and engineering mastery. The incubation space aims to foster and promote innovation, education, entrepreneurship, pioneering and start-up spirit. As for the education/training space, it aims to develop mastery levels, organize events, conferences, boot camps to connect, share, demonstrate, present and disseminate. The DTA has multiple partners to ensure the success of its activities. In Cameroon, the company SARMETAL puts its premises at the disposal of the center, abroad we have the Dassault System foundation which brings us a great financial support, the company Dassault system which offers us its skills, MANN+HUMMEL. SIFA, UNIDO and others.
